I stopped by the Getty Amoco service station in Georgetown because the GPS in my rental car was not working. I asked the mechanic to put a new fuse in my car. He said he would and did replace the fuse. However, he charged me $21. 15. This is an outrageous price to charge for one small fuse for a car. However, I had no other choice but to pay, so I paid by debit card.
The guy behind the register gave me my receipt but not an "itemized receipt". The next day, I called and spoke with Ned, one of the managers on Thursday, October 1, 2009. Asking him to please fax the car rental store an itemized receipt so that I could get my money back. Ned indicated that he would fax the rental car the receipt immediately so that I could be properly reimbursed. Needless to say, Ned never faxed the receipt.
I called on October 2, 2009 4x to speak with Ned or Abe (managers) each time they would not come to the phone. I called on October 3rd and 4th and the same thing. Now that they refuse to fax the receipt, I will not get my money back from Enterprise Car Rental.
I know they "ripped me" off and they know they "ripped me" off this is why they will not fax the receipt. This is only another example of their lack of professionalism and dishonesty.
